Please join us and other members of LATA this Sunday, January 8 for a beginning of the year kick off event at GYM bar in West Hollywood from 3-6pm. Help us welcome new members to LATA, and catch up with friends you already know as we begin this year’s Winter League and head into the Mitch Nutick Singles Championship in a few weeks! Happy New Year Everyone!

I know everyone has been busy with the holidays, but the deadline for the Club Tournament singles tournament is rapidly approaching. If you are planning on playing, please either mail or email me your application as soon as possible.  I’d like to make sure we have enough players to make this a fun event for everyone.

Anyone that is a new member without a ranking, you can still play in the tournament.  Make sure you have contacted Richard Podolsky to set up a time for Ranking Day which is this Saturday.

If you plan on playing, make sure you renew your LATA membership for 2012.

On a side note, there is a kick off event for Team Tennis at Gym Bar this Sunday from 3-6.  Tournament applications will be available if you’d like to sign up then.  Contact Jeff Sheng if you have any questions regarding this event.
