WINTER 2012 TEAM TENNIS
The new Team Tennis season begins January 23rd 2012. Sunday Burbank League already has a waiting list but there are still plenty of spots available in the other leagues. All leagues are going at a reduced price of $105 this season (except for Tuesday Social Doubles at $60). Signing up is easier than ever since you can pay online.
This season’s offerings:
- Monday – Weddington – 7pm to 10pm – Starts January 23rd
- Tuesday – Weddington – 7pm to 9pm – Singles Full Matches – Starts January 24th
- Wednesday – LaCienaga – 7pm to 10pm – Starts January 25th
- Thursday – Weddington – 7pm to 9pm – Doubles Only – Starts January 26th
- Sunday – Burbank – 2pm to 5pm – Starts January 29th
Due to low signups, Saturday league has been cancelled for the coming season.
The deadline for refunds this season is Saturday, January 14th. If you sign up and need to drop out and want your money back, do it before this date!
NEW MEMBERS: If you don’t have a ranking tier or haven’t played in a few seasons, you will need to take part in our very fun ranking day. Ranking day is January 7th 2012 12pm to 4pm at Burbank Tennis Center – contact your wonderful new ranking director Richard Podolsky to make an appointment – in addition to ranking, there will be a clinic at 11am and plenty of social doubles to play during the entire afternoon.
After four years as Team Tennis Director, Brent Hall is taking a break so I will attempt to fill his very big shoes this coming year. I hope everyone will be understanding and patient with me as I learn the ropes. Brent set a high standard that I will strive to follow.
